☕️ Grab a coffee (ideally a great one) and let me share what 2024 taught me about our wonderful food industry…
After 35 years in food, this year reinforced something I’ve always known – our industry thrives on relationships and resilience. From navigating 18 days without broadband, our newest team member joining us, Kyle, to working with clients to create fantastic internal and external comms.
I’ve spent the year reading the food trade press (so you don’t have to!), sharing industry insights from various locations (yes, sometimes cricket grounds), and helping food businesses stand out. The eating-out market grew by 2.8%, outpacing inflation – proving that even in challenging times, our industry finds ways to innovate and adapt.
Looking to 2025: Christmas planning starts in January (yes, really!), trade shows are already in the calendar, and I’ll keep reading the trade press so you don’t have to. The food industry never stands still – that’s what makes it so exciting.
If food’s your thing too, let’s connect. Better yet, meet me for a great coffee at Gloucester Services and we can talk about your marketing challenges for 2025. I’m Michelle, and I still eat, sleep, and drink food. 🍽️

There are so many highlights but some that spring to mind are helping Penny Tomlinson and the team at Fairfax Meadow celebrate their 50th year in business, including the fantastic team party.
Working with Craig Ward and Anthony Bosco on the brilliant Granarolo and Midland Chilled Food businesses and the amazing International Cheese & Dairy Awards & EXPO show where we secured a fantastic retail listing for Christmas 2024. Give them a follow Granarolo UK and Midland Chilled Foods Ltd.
We also planned and created a fantastic tradeshow stand for Martin Finegan and the team PACIFIC WEST FOODS (UK) LTD to showcase their new Fully Cooked seafood range at Lunch! Plus a new website launch!
For our client Premier Fish Ltd we worked on the brief and delivery for a boat to plate film with the team at Fresho – a wonderful insight into the complexities of the fresh fish industry and the passionate people that work within it.
We’ve also launched a new website and created multiple projects for Aldo Bosco for Fratelli Bosco and Gran Bosco. Always a joy!
Plus so many other projects that I can’t even think of! Keep following and I’ll share more as we head into 2025.
Thanks also go to my co-director (and husband) Haddon Sullivan for being on the journey!
